At the beginning of your business, your home office looks pretty clean and well arranged.  Professionalism speaks for the newly purchased tables, chairs, and computers.  Weeks and even months pass by and work starts to pile up at your desk and even on the floors.  Now, how can you maintain your professional and spacious home office in spite of the busy schedule?

Having an organized and well spaced office aids everyone in accomplishing their jobs easily.  It is also a source of inspiration and motivation for you to start your day by being creative.  There are some changes that you can merge with your home office to make it more spacious and therefore, conducive for work. 

Start clearing all the clutter around your office.  Dump all the unneeded papers like past drafts, memos and the likes.  Organize all your paperwork for easy availableness the next time you need it.

You may also want to change your table into something that will aid you more especially on those busy days.  An L or U-shaped table is a much better choice because of the bigger space it provides.  Having small drawers under it is also a good idea to increase storage without taking up too much space.

The wiring from telephones and computers should also be considered.  The wires should be tucked because it gives a neat surrounding as well as preventing future accidents.

Proper lighting will also make an office look spacious.  Always keep the curtains open during the day and the lights on at night.  Good lighting will aid you in your daily tasks.
